The Municipality of Surda Abu Qash received a delegation from the Abu Qash Women’s Association, who visited to extend their sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Mayor, Mr. Jad Muharrab Shalhout, and the members of the newly formed Municipal Council on the occasion of assuming their official responsibilities.
During the meeting, the Mayor warmly welcomed the delegation, expressing his appreciation for their visit and commending the active role of the Association in supporting women and contributing to community development. He reaffirmed the Municipality’s commitment to supporting women’s initiatives and enhancing cooperation with civil society institutions to serve the local community.
The delegation, in turn, emphasized the importance of strengthening joint efforts and continuing collaboration with the Municipality, particularly in initiatives that empower women, promote social engagement, and support community-based activities.
