On Sunday, March 29, 2026, Surda Abu Qash Municipalityheld a meeting of the Education Committee (Education Tax Committee), attended by the Mayor of Surda Abu Qash Municipality and Head of the Education Committee, Mr. Mohammad Mousa Ramadan, the Director General of Education, the Deputy Head of the Education Committee, Ms. Haniya Nazzal, in addition to committee members and municipal engineers.
During the meeting, participants discussed the current situation of schools in Surda and Abu Qash and identified their various needs, including both educational and infrastructure aspects. The discussion aimed to develop a clear action plan to improve the educational environment and ensure that schools are adequately equipped, positively impacting students and teaching staff.
Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination between the municipality and the Directorate of Education, and of working in an integrated manner to meet the needs of schools and advance the education sector in Surda and Abu Qash. This aligns with the municipality’s vision of improving services and creating a better educational environment for the town’s residents.
