Surda Mixed Basic School in 2023, benefited from a comprehensive set of development projects. These included the supply of laptops and the provision of six multi-purpose interactive screens, as part of enhancing digital education and modern teaching methods.

The works also involved integrated rehabilitation projects, including the construction of sidewalks around the school, tiling of the external yard, and the development of an accessible entrance for people with disabilities. In addition, the school cafeteria and both science and computer laboratories were rehabilitated in accordance with Ministry of Education standards.

Furthermore, the science laboratory was fully upgraded, including necessary infrastructure works and the provision of cabinets and required equipment, contributing to improving the quality of practical education within the school.
