Surda Abu Qash Municipality provides the service of transferring a building permit, allowing ownership of the permit to be legally transferred from the current owner to a new owner in accordance with approved regulations.
- Required Documents:
- Copy of ID of the land owner.
- Copy of ID of the new owner.
- New title deed (ownership document).
- Original building permit.
- No-objection letter from the previous owner.
- Service Completion Time:
7 working days.
- Fees:
1% of the value of the original permit.

• Building and Planning Regulations for Local Authorities (2011).
• Structural Plan of Sarda Abu Qash Municipality approved by the Ministry of Local Government.
- Procedures:
- Receive the transfer request.
- Review the original permit.
- Transfer ownership by issuing a new permit under the new owner’s name.
- Await the Planning and Building Committee decision.
- Issue the decision.
- Approve and sign the permit by the Mayor and Municipal Engineer.
- Deliver the permit to the applicant.
