Surda Abu Qash Municipality provides the New Building Permit service to regulate construction activities and ensure compliance with approved laws and regulations.

 

- Required Documents:

1- Property tax clearance certificate for the applicant

2- Proof of land ownership (periodic power of attorney, legal sale agreement, or court affidavit to preserve partners’ rights)

3- Certified land survey plan (issued within the last 6 months)

4- CD

5- Copy of the owner’s ID

 

- Processing Time:

30 working days from the date of submitting all required documents

 

- Fees:

According to plot classification and construction location

 

- Legal Reference:

• Building and Planning Regulations for Local Authorities (2011)

• Structural plan of Sarra–Abu Qash Municipality approved by the Ministry of Local Government

 

- Procedure:

1- Receive the building permit application

2-  Pay file opening fees

3- Review documents by the Engineering Department

4- Conduct a site inspection

5- Prepare official letters for approval of plans from Health, Antiquities, and Land Authority

6- Submit stamped plans

7- Await approvals from relevant authorities

8- Receive approved and signed plans from official entities

9- Prepare the full file and submit it to the Building and Planning Committee for decision (approval / rejection / modification)

10- Await committee meeting

11- Committee reviews the file; if approved, fees are calculated

12- Notify the citizen of the decision

13- Collect fees and issue the permit

14- Approve and sign the permit

15- Archive the licensing file

16- Deliver the permit to the citizen
